It is essential to follow the procedure required by the swissuniversities within the deadlines.
Candidates who have not indicated UNIL as their first choice when pre-registering at swissuniversities cannot apply for medical studies at UNIL after 15 February.
In April at the latest, swissuniversities will inform all pre-enrolled candidates personally about the procedure to be followed later in order to enrol in medical studies.
Note: it is mandatory to submit an online application at UNIL and your documents to the Admissions Office (Service des immatriculations et inscriptions) before 30 April 2023, further to the pre-enrolment at swissuniversities.
Master programme
A preliminary registration at swissuniversities is not requested for an application to a Master programme. However, a foreign Bachelor of Medecine may not be deemed equivalent to a Swiss Bachelor of Medecine and therefore not give access to a Master programme.
2. The available enrolment capacity in medicine has regularly been exceeded in recent years. Admission of foreign students to medical programmes is based on the Cantonal regulations on admission of foreign candidates to medicine studies.
3. Students who have started the first year of the Bachelor of Medicine in another Swiss or foreign Faculty of Medicine will no longer be eligible in the Bachelor of Medicine at UNIL with the exception of students who have passed the first-year competition at the University of Neuchâtel and who have obtained a place at UNIL.
4. The candidate for the programme passerelle biology/life sciences engineering - medicine starting in the autumn semester 2023/2024 has to deposit his application until 30 November 2022.
5. Dental and veterinary medicine are not taught at the University of Lausanne.

Pharmacie
Seuls les enseignements de la première année sont dispensés à Lausanne. Pour la poursuite des études en Suisse romande, un transfert ultérieur à l'Université de Genève est donc obligatoire.
Lettres
Les candidats au Bachelor ou Master de la Facultés des lettres dont le diplôme de fin d'études secondaires ne comprend ni le latin ni le grec ancien doivent, selon les branches choisies, suivre une formation de base en latin ou en grec ancien.
Les candidats au Bachelor ou au Master qui peuvent se prévaloir d'un certificat d'études secondaires comprenant le latin ne sont astreints à suivre qu'une partie de ce complément.
Sciences sociales et politiques (SSP)
Sciences du mouvement et du sport: les candidats au bachelor en sciences du mouvement et du sport qui sont admissibles à l'immatriculation doivent en outre réussir un examen préalable d'aptitudes physiques organisé durant l'été avant la rentrée universitaire.
