UNIL has several voices to communicate with the university community and with society. It is important that these messages are consistent with the values of the institution and with the strategic objectives that the Rectorate has set. It is also essential that each and every one of us feels concerned and taken into consideration by the way UNIL presents itself, with respect for his or her person and uniqueness.
This is why the Action Plan for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion 2022-2026 provides for the promotion of these aspects in communication, and the generalisation of inclusive institutional communication.
The aim is not to impose a 'diktat' on communication, but to encourage its evolution in line with that of a society that seeks equality and respect for diversity.
