The Dalle Molle Foundation for Quality of Life awards the ‘Quality of Life’ prize to a current research project which has already been recognised by research support bodies, public institutions or private companies for its scientific quality. The foundation has a double aim: to encourage and promote research which allows people to benefit from science and technology and to improve quality of life.

Swiss Network for International Studies (SNIS)
SNIS encourages researchers to contribute to policy-making, by granting research fundings and awarding high-quality academic contributions. Research fundings aim to promote pluri-disciplinary and policy-relevant research projects linked to the international agenda. Furthermore, SNIS rewards every year the best PhD thesis in International Studies ("SNIS Award for International Studies") and three high-quality, policy-relevant academic papers ("International Geneva Award").

Société Académique Vaudoise
This foundation offer various kinds of funding aiming to support all researchers when and PhD students and postdocs in particular.The following support measures have an yearly deadline for submissions:
- Mobility fellowhsips for both postdocs (up to 40'000 CHF) and PhD students (up to 20'000 CHF)
- Publications subsidides for all categories of researchers (up to 3'000 CHF)
